Sports Mad 🙂

June has been an incredibly busy month regarding sport with children taking part in hurling, camogie, rounders and golf.

‘On the 3rd of June we won our Rounders Féile and we are now All Ireland Champions. It was really fun but we were exhausted afterwards. We were playing in The Heath and beat beat The Heath in the final. There were three Durrow girls on our team. Their names were Aoife, Gráinne and Paige and all the other nine girls were from Cullohill. When the match was over Seosamh Murphy who owns the Castle Arms Hotel kindly bought everyone in for dinner and gave us all chicken goujons. They were lovely.’ By Gráinne
