Laois Sports Partnership have been promoting ‘The Daily Mile’ from Athletics Ireland. Please have a read of the link below and if you have time and are interested you can print the chart and let the children fill it in to help us receive a ‘Daily Mile Active Flag’ in September 🙂 Thank you!

Amazon today cancelled the subscription of books and audio stories for children and students of all ages as long as schools are closed, kids everywhere can instantly stream an incredible collection of stories, including titles across six different languages, that will help them continue dreaming, learning, and just being kids.

Dear parent/ guardian,

I hope that you are all doing well in what are unprecedented times for us all. All the teachers have assigned work to the children for 2 weeks so they should have a lot to keep them going. Below some teachers just wanted to leave a little note of encouragement and pass on some information. Rest assured we are all looking at innovative ways to teach your children from our own homes but at the end of the day it is up to you to choose what activities will best suit your child during this time 🙂 We will all get through this together by doing our best.

Twinkl Ireland have set up resource packs for all ages during school closures. Everything is free so if you’re interested you can create an account for free and download the pack suited to your child(ren)! Here is the email they sent-
