2nd class enjoyed an ice-cream party today to mark the end of an exciting year! Thanks Ms. Holohan 🙂

A massive thank you to Ann and Enda for our fabulous new benches. We are so appreciative. 2nd class were able to do some planting under the guidance of 5th class at them today.  

The Student Council would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their continued support throughout the year and would like to wish everyone a happy, fun and safe summer.

We hosted an ice-cream party in aid of Down Syndrome Ireland yesterday. Thanks to all who donated!

The pupils from Juniors to 5th class gave 6th class a massive send-off this morning. Congratulations 6th class on your graduation and thank you for all the wonderful memories. We know you will all go on to do great things in the future. Don’t forget to come back and visit!!    

Well done to all in 5th and 6th class who completed an ‘Irish Oral’ this year with the hopes of earning a Fáinne. Go raibh míle maith agat Mrs. O’Shea for completing them!

5th class have been busy these past few weeks, working hard and completing numerous activities. Here are some pictures from their day of baking and their ‘Teach the Teacher’ presentations!  

Juniors to 1st class had a great Sports Day organised by their teachers and led by 5th class. 5th class did an excellent job at making sure everyone was safe and happy. Thank you to everyone who baked, came to our mass and visited our school today for Grandparents’ Day! It was lovely to celebrate the many grandparents we have in school who play such an important role in their grandchildren’s lives. Well done to the children for all their effort in making today so special.

5th and 6th class enjoyed a super school tour last Friday. They visited Croke Park, Jump Zone and of course Supermacs! Both classes were a pleasure to bring out for the day. We wanted to also say a special thank you to Aidan who made our tour of Croke Park even more special and engaging!

First and second classes enjoyed a wonderful school tour today!

2nd and 3rd class really enjoyed their 6 week block of swimming lessons at Portlaoise Leisure Centre. We celebrated their achievements by visiting Supermacs on the last day! 5th class made the most of the weather by taking art outside and created some masterpieces inspired by the works of Claude Monet and nature around them.

Congratulations to the children in 2nd class who received their First Holy Communion on Sunday the 19th of May on a beautiful, sunny day. Enjoy the celebrations boys and girls!

April was very busy as we celebrated Autism Awareness Day and Active School Week. Children visited our Autism Classes and the children were able to play together and explore their classrooms.
