New Benches

A massive thank you to Ann and Enda for our fabulous new benches. We are so appreciative. 2nd class were able to do some planting under the guidance of 5th class at them today.

Down Syndrome Ireland

We hosted an ice-cream party in aid of Down Syndrome Ireland yesterday. Thanks to all who donated!

Goodbye 6th Class!

The pupils from Juniors to 5th class gave 6th class a massive send-off this morning. Congratulations 6th class on your graduation and thank you for all the wonderful memories. We know you will all go on to do great things in the future. Don’t forget to come back and visit!!

Junior Sports Day and Hurling League

Grandparents’ Day 2024

Thank you to everyone who baked, came to our mass and visited our school today for Grandparents’ Day! It was lovely to celebrate the many grandparents we have in school who play such an important role in their grandchildren’s lives. Well done to the children for all their effort in making today so special.

5th and 6th Class School Tour

5th and 6th class enjoyed a super school tour last Friday. They visited Croke Park, Jump Zone and of course Supermacs! Both classes were a pleasure to bring out for the day. We wanted to also say a special thank you to Aidan who made our tour of Croke Park even more special and engaging!

Swimming and Sunny Weather

2nd and 3rd class really enjoyed their 6 week block of swimming lessons at Portlaoise Leisure Centre. We celebrated their achievements by visiting Supermacs on the last day! 5th class made the most of the weather by taking art outside and created some masterpieces inspired by the works of Claude Monet and nature around them.

First Holy Communion

Congratulations to the children in 2nd class who received their First Holy Communion on Sunday the 19th of May on a beautiful, sunny day. Enjoy the celebrations boys and girls!
