A massive congratulations to the pupils from 3rd, 4th and 5th who have been training since January to complete a 2km run. Planting Sunflowers with Senior Infants
4th and 5th classes very kindly helped Senior Infants and even some children from 1st class plant sunflower seeds last week in homemade biodegradable pots. Well done all and we can’t wait to see your flowers bloom!
Student Council Easter Raffle
A huge thank you to Michael’s Mammy Caroline who generously donated Easter Eggs for the Student Council Easter Raffle. We are continuing to raise funds for items for our Calm Corners. Tickets are on sale each morning in the front hall: €2 a strip and 3 for €5.

Student Council Update
The Student Council delivered the new beanbags and Squishmallows to the Calm Corners in the classrooms on Tuesday. These were purchased with the funds raised by our Christmas Raffle. A huge thanks to everyone for your generosity and support.
Music
Thank you Nicola for all your fantastic teaching over the past few weeks. The children have really enjoyed learning to play the recorder with you and loved bringing in their instruments today!
World Book Day 2025
2nd class enjoyed discussing their favourite books and also participated in shared reading with their friends in 1st class, played book bingo and enjoyed a book quiz.

Johnstown Camogie
A massive congratulations to the Senior Camogie Players from Coláiste Mhuire Johnstown who won the All-Ireland ‘B’ Colleges’ Trophy in February. It was especially lovely to have some of our past-pupils come and visit. What an inspiration for our younger pupils!
