Martin Lawlor was on hand today to help 5th class plant a ‘Butterfly Garden’ in support of Emma Fogarty from Abbeyleix, Patient Ambassador of Debra Ireland and all those living with EB. Junior Infants and 6th Class have been really enjoying getting to know each other this past month. Shared reading gives both classes the opportunity to develop their reading skills, social skills and also fosters a love of reading. Well done everyone!

Both boys and girls in 5th and 6th are off to a great start!

4th Class made the most of the weather today and went on an Autumnal walk with Susan. The children explored the castle grounds and took note of different plants and wildlife, paying particular attention to the different species of trees. Thanks as always to Susan for sharing her time and knowledge with us.

A very warm welcome back to all our pupils and a special warm welcome to our new class of Junior Infants!

2nd class enjoyed an ice-cream party today to mark the end of an exciting year! Thanks Ms. Holohan 🙂

A massive thank you to Ann and Enda for our fabulous new benches. We are so appreciative. 2nd class were able to do some planting under the guidance of 5th class at them today.  

The Student Council would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their continued support throughout the year and would like to wish everyone a happy, fun and safe summer.

We hosted an ice-cream party in aid of Down Syndrome Ireland yesterday. Thanks to all who donated!
