A massive thank you to Martin Lawlor who taught 5th class all about caring for plants, species of plants and propagation of plants. 5th class are extremely grateful as Martin also gifted them all tomato plants, basil and thyme to take home. Some spot prizes for a few lucky pupils on the day included strawberry plants and dahlias! Martin also gifted 5th class sweetcorn to grow in the school garden. A very enjoyable, practical lesson was had.
