2nd class have been learning about the history of schools and education in Durrow. They interviewed Mary Collins and Mrs. Coe about their experiences as pupils and principals in the Presentation Convent, and Our Lady’s Meadow.

5th class would like to thank Jimmy Ryan for speaking to them about Carnival. They loved listening to Jimmy recall stories about Carnival and the tradition of festivals in Durrow throughout the years. Jimmy also brought in posters to share with the class, providing them with a direct link to the past. Mrs. Coe also shared wonderful stories that made the Carnival come to life for the class. 5th class are very excited to complete their projects and share them with you all.
