Second Class enjoyed a fabulous wreath-making workshop with the knowledgeable Martin Lawlor recently. Martin demonstrated how an Advent Wreath is made using an oasis, foliage and berries. The children loved learning about the meaning of Advent and how a wreath is made. Later, the children set off making their own in groups. The results were beautiful and we would like to thank Martin for sharing his expertise and providing the equipment required. This was a very special activity especially as second class prepare to make their First Holy Communion this year.
