World Book Day 2025

Johnstown Camogie

A massive congratulations to the Senior Camogie Players from Coláiste Mhuire Johnstown who won the All-Ireland ‘B’ Colleges’ Trophy in February. It was especially lovely to have some of our past-pupils come and visit. What an inspiration for our younger pupils!

Cumann na mBunscol GAA Quiz

Santa Dash in 4th and 5th

Below are pictures of 4th and 5th pre and post 1km dash. After a small amount of training, children ran/ walked for 1km at their own pace today with their teachers. Children were very proud of each other and cheered everyone along during the kilometre. Well done 4rh and 5th class, keep up the running!

STEM

A massive thank you to Seanie Morris, STEM Engagement Officer from Laois County Council who spoke to the children from 4th to 6th about STEM, in particular the engineering of robots and coding. We are very excited to get started with our kit, worth over €1500.

Student Council’s Annual Christmas Hamper

Tickets go on sale from tomorrow for our Student Council’s Annual Christmas Hamper. Tickets will cost €2 for one strip and 3 strips will cost €5. Tickets will be on sale in the front hall at 09:00. The raffle will take place next week. Good luck everyone!

Active Break Challenge 2024

Our Lady’s Meadow pupils are enjoying participating in the Active Break Challenge for 2024. The boys and girls from Juniors to 6th are enjoying four weeks of participation in this fun challenge. A massive thanks to the Irish Heart Foundation.
